Games

Modern games (or video games) are a type of electronic game played using a microcomputer, a television set, a monitor, audio equipment, etc., usually connected to a console device called a controller. Electronic games were first developed in the 1970s and 1980s, and have become increasingly popular since then.

Video game consoles are dedicated gaming devices that allow players to play video games at home without owning any personal computer hardware. Consoles may be standalone units or plug into televisions via connectors such as VGA, HDMI, or Component AV cables.
